This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Sō.Capital Inc. (“Sō.Capital,” “Company,” “us,” or “we”) may collect, use and share personal information of users of this website, https://www.so.capital (the “Site”), services, and applications (“Services”).
Sō.Capital is an intermediary technology platform that will serve as a centralized location where market participants can post and/or discover capital raising campaigns online (“Campaign”). A Campaign is a concerted effort by a company and/or individual to raise capital for a specific use. You may participate on the Site as a User or Registered User (as defined in the Terms of Service) (“Participants,” “you,” or “your”). Only Registered Users will be required to register an account (“Account”) in order to access the corresponding Services.
We may collect and receive information about Participants of our Services from various sources, including: (i) information you provide through your Account if you register for the Services; (ii) your use of the Services; and (iii) from third-party websites, services, and partners.

1.What We Collect

We get information about you in a range of ways.

Information You Give Us

1. Account Registration. Depending on what type of Account you register for, you provide us with:

(a) Contact information, such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number;

(b) Social media accounts, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn;

(c) Profile information, such as your individual profile pictures, investment interests, username, accredited investor status, and any other information you choose to provide on your profile (you may edit and control your profile information displayed to other users within the Site through user settings and preferences);

(d) Campaign Information, such as title of Campaign, company name/logo, description of Campaign, location, amount of capital sought, amount funded, and any other information or videos you choose to upload

(e) Company information, such as name of company, company founder information, company industry, and company logo; and

(f) Intermediary information, such as name of intermediary, focus industry, and regulatory status.

2. User Consent. Companies and Intermediaries are allowed to publicly post content on our Site. By registering an Account as a Company or Intermediary, you agree that your profile information and the content you post may be viewed and used by other users and third parties we do not control.

3. Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. We may also receive a confirmation when you open an email from us.

4. Payment Information. When you add your financial account information to your Account, that information is directed to our third-party payment processor. We do not store your financial account information on our systems; however, we have access to, and may retain, Member information through our third-party payment processor.

2.Information We Automatically Collect When You Use Our Services.

1. Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. In addition, when you use our Services, we may collect certain information automatically from your device.
